Loco Tequila seeks a motivated and experienced market manager who is looking to make their mark in the spirits industry. This person will be responsible for accelerating sales and brand goals by acquiring new accounts and supporting existing relationships, both on and off premise. They will establish effective and trusted business partnerships with key accounts and distributors in order to influence distribution, drive consistent sales and create an exceptional presence that builds our long term position in the market. Our ideal candidate brings a deep knowledge of the Northern California market, primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area, and an understanding of the luxury spirits ecosystem. Reports directly to the General Manager USA.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead sales efforts in the Northern California market for the on and off premise channels
Employ a sophisticated approach to sales tactics and incentives in order to increase accounts sold and depletion velocity
Collaborate with distributor, internal sales team and brand ambassadors to create and maintain lasting relationships
Cultivate partnerships with key trade leaders, influential accounts, bars and bartenders to increase opportunities for the sales teams
Conduct tastings, demonstrations and team trainings, successfully conveying our unique values and story
Generate weekly sales briefs and monthly reports, including market intelligence and activity summaries
Actively participate in the development of a long-term strategic sales plan
Attend consumer facing events and support other projects as needed


PROFILE AND SKILLS:

5+ years of sales experience in the luxury spirits and tequila sectors is required
Strong track record of business development and client retention
Proactively seizes and creates new opportunities
Enjoys rolling up their sleeves to support a small start up team
Positive, team player attitude with strong communication skills
Can work autonomously within budget
Agile, flexible and curious
Embodies our philosophy of excellence in day to day work
Proof of clean driving record and reliable vehicle
Able to lift and carry 40 lbs

SPIRIT OF ORIGIN. 12 years in the making, Loco Tequila was born from decades of imagination, innovation and investment. In 2012, the three Loco Tequila founders - Mexican businessmen and lifelong friends - came together with a vision to honor Mexico's rich cultural history with a tequila of refinement.

Loco Tequila launched in Mexico City in 2019 and can be found in top restaurants such as Quintonil, Pujol and Garum, and in over 100 of the city’s finest wine & spirits stores. Placements followed in Los Cabos, Monterrey and Puebla. Beginning in 2023, Loco Tequila launched with limited quantities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Today, our team in Mexico includes over 50 people and we are looking to grow our US footprint as we expand into select accounts and regions.
