Diamond Creek Vineyards seeks the perfect candidate to join our team. The applicant for this position must have a love for hospitality, a contagious enthusiasm for fine wine, and enjoy providing high-quality estate tasting and tour experiences. Our appointment-only winery offers guests a private in-depth and one-on-one experience. The position requires a calm, but energetic personality with innate hospitality skills.

Position Summary:
•  Warmly welcome and greet guests upon their arrival at the estate.
•  Conduct private tastings and estate vineyard tours in a small, intimate, and luxurious setting.
•  Skillfully lead guest experiences, sharing comprehensive knowledge on wine, viticulture, regional expertise, and the compelling story of our winery.
•  Anticipate guests’ needs and consistently exceed their expectations.
•  Effectively convey our brand identity through engaging and developing guest relationships.
•  Coordinate and manage guest experiences in a professional and timely manner.
•  Maintain adherence to opening and closing procedures.
•  Ensure accurate updating of CRM with private client details.
•  Facilitate inventory reconciliation and restocking, with potential office support responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

•  Previous experience in winery hospitality preferred.
•  A strong and eloquent knowledge of wine, with the ability to effectively convey it to guests.
•  Impeccable attention to detail and polished customer service skills.
•  A team player with a professional demeanor, positive disposition, and a willingness to assist wherever necessary.
•  Outstanding communication skills, including phone, in-person, and written communication.
•  Comfortable speaking confidently and clearly in front of groups.
•  The ability to stand and communicate with customers during tastings, as well as safely operate an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) for estate vineyard tours.
•  Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid CA driver’s license.
•  Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
•  Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Calistoga.
