DaVero Farms & Winery in Healdsburg is growing, and hiring for a part-time hospitality position.

The core requirements are a passion for wine, a curious mind, and exceptional hospitality skills -- plus the ability to work weeks days, weekends and occasional events.

If you’re the right person, you’ll join a unique company, one 100% committed to regenerative farming, and to the health of the whole (including both our people and our customers). You’ll have a fascinating and very different story to tell, one that starts with the soil and expresses itself through our incredible wines and olive oils. The authenticity is genuine; no need to spin! Since we’re by-appointment-only, you’ll have ample time to spend with each visitor, and so much interesting material to work with!

 Over the last 30+ years, we have thoughtfully built a sustainable business based on growing climate-appropriate varieties (primarily Italian), farming regeneratively (we are certified Biodynamic), and allowing Nature to make our wines.

And it works: we are 100% direct-to-consumer, primarily to our loyal farm members. Many of our employees have been with us for years, making for a very cohesive small team that feels very much like a family.

YOUR ROLE
•    Promote and sell our wines and memberships, primarily through private seated tastings, but also via outbound phone sales, virtual tastings, and other direct-to-consumer activities.
•    Provide awesome customer service.
•    Engage customers and provide timely follow-up and follow-through.
•    Maintain CRM within customer accounts including notes, tasks, and project reminders.
Assist in occasional gift wrapping and packing
•    Learn and utilize multiple platforms of technology – Complete DTC, Google Workplace, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, Microsoft Office, etc.
•    Work as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment, constantly adapting to changing
situations.
•    Assist in occasional outbound sales campaigns

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
•    BA or BS degree preferred but not required.
•    Prior experience in wine sales, call center, or luxury goods sales.

REQUIREMENTS
•    Ability to work weekdays, onsite events, occasional offsite events, occasional evenings, and holidays.
•    At least 21 years of age, able to lift 50 pounds (a full case of wine), and have a valid CA Driver’s license.
