The Wine Inventory Systems Specialist is responsible for managing the compliance activities related to Wine tracking, Raw Material Tracking, and other supporting activities that relate to the organization involved in producing high quality wines. The Wine Inventory Systems Specialist will liaison directly with the Systems Compliance Manager, Geyserville Winemaking Teams, and sister Duckhorn Portfolio Teams to ensure ongoing compliance with ABC, TTB, ISO, Bioterrorism standards and regulations are met at a high level. This position requires a clear and courteous communicator, with superior organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Record all wine movements accurately, all raw material additions, all wine consumptions in relation to bottling.
•  Ensure data posting into Navision accurately represents cellar activities in relation to tracked KPI metrics.
•  Prepare monthly 702 and DSP reports for submission.
•  Facilitate and assist in compiling annual TTB inventory activities.
•  Receive all winemaking raw materials including regulated points of verification prior to release for site use as mandated by Bioterrorism/TTB Regulations.
•  Assist in managing system to ensure controlled documents are maintained including revisions, new documents, and archived documents.
•  Assist in internal audit activities.
•  Assist in KPI data capture and reporting activities as needed.

What you will need:
•  Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
•  Experience working with winery production software – NAV experience a plus.
•  Basic knowledge of cellar, lab, and winemaking operations.
•  Positive attitude.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•  Detail Oriented.
•  Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
•  Experience with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other Lean Manufacturing environments a plus.
