As the Hospitality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our direct sales initiatives at the winery while also curating unforgettable event experiences for our customers and members. Leveraging your expertise in sales, marketing, hospitality, and event management, you will be responsible for leading our tasting room and events team, maximizing revenue opportunities and fostering meaningful connections with our visitors. This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Develop and execute work processes and procedures to drive winery sales including wine club sign-ups, tasting room experiences, and events.
•  Oversee the day-to-day operations of the tasting room and events, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and adherence to brand standards.
•  Manage and motivate a team of tasting room staff alongside the tasting room manager, providing guidance, training to optimize sales and customer service.
•  Work closely with our DTC departments to coordinate the execution of initiatives/activities related to club and e-commerce.
•  Work alongside the Director of Marketing to develop and execute compelling campaigns, promotions, and events that attract and engage customers, including wine tastings, food pairings, private events, and seasonal celebrations.
•  Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, implementing revised processes to drive growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
•  Ensure that the Wine Educators are achieving monthly sales goals, monitor and communicate progress including traffic, revenue, AOV, Wine Club sign-ups, conversion ratios, and email collection to the Director of Marketing & Consumer Commerce.
•  Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with wine club members, VIP customers, event vendors, and other key stakeholders, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
•  Support the events manager in logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and onsite coordination, to ensure seamless execution and memorable experiences.
•  Generate and cultivate new and existing corporate business.
•  Inventory and maintain adequate stock levels and timely fulfillment of orders for both tasting room and event needs.
•  Stay informed about industry trends, emerging event concepts, and consumer preferences, incorporating relevant insights into business processes and practices.
•  Represent the winery at industry events, tastings, and trade shows, networking with potential customers and partners to expand our reach.
•  Work alongside the Events Manager to build our network and partnerships with event planners.
•  Uphold the winery's brand reputation and values through exemplary professionalism, integrity, and dedication to quality.
Qualifications:
•  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field experience. (preferred).
•  Proven experience in direct-to-consumer sales and event management, preferably within the wine industry or luxury consumer goods sector. 5+ years recommended.
•  Strong leadership skills, including inspiring and motivating teams to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and execute flawless events.
•  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers, partners, and vendors
•  Analytical mindset with data analysis and interpretation proficiency, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
•  Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth, exceeding sales targets, and executing successful events.
•  Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by the role's demands.
•  Passion for wine and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the winery's story, products, and experiences with others.
•  Experience with Wine Direct, TOCK preferred but not required.
