Job Description:

The Human Resources Manager provides recruiting, engagement, and administrative support for the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate has a passion for Human Resources and enjoys leading cross functional projects. The scope of responsibilities include recruiting and staffing, HRIS data management, recordkeeping, employee relations, employee recognition programs, worker’s comp and safety program administration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- This role will support the HR Director to manage an effective intake process and provide superior service to our employees through efficient and clear communications.
- Be visible and focused on external recruitment balancing short term and long-term talent planning, on-boarding, and processing. The role will champion the recruitment of nonexempt personnel and support the HR Director with exempt personnel recruitment management.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives and events that bring value to our employees’ experience and HPE community.
- Be a safety champion: Actively participate on the safety committee, maintain safety reporting protocol and act as safety captain for admin building. Lead the worker’s compensation processes from maintaining records, processing claims, and keeping strong communication between both the carrier and the employee.
- Be a back-up for Bi-Weekly Payroll Processing.
- Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, reconciling monthly benefit invoices for accuracy and GL coding; ensure their timely payment and assisting with communicating benefits information to employees.
- Lead office management administrative tasks including supply orders, calendar management and employee site specific communications.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources related roles and/or a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, team-oriented
- Attention to detail, takes pride in work and aspires to maintain continual personal and professional growth
- Must have outstanding organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Must have expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and interest in the wine industry
- Must have excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills
- Must demonstrate versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

- This role’s compensation is anticipated to fit within the range of $90,000 to $110,000.00. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate skills, experience, knowledge and education.
