Today, our portfolio features some of North America’s most revered wineries, including Decoy, Paraduxx, Goldeneye, Migration, Canvasback, Calera, Kosta Browne, Greenwing and Postmark.

Geyserville Winery is looking for Harvest Cellar Interns to join the team for Harvest 2024. The Harvest Cellar Intern is an integral part of the winemaking process during the harvest season. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in a worker cellar environment, working closely with experienced winemakers and cellar staff. The primary focus of the role is to support the day-to-day operations for the cellar during the busy harvest season.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Perform various work assignments to include racking, pumping, clarifying and blending of juice and wine.
•  Sanitize all areas of cellar operations, tanks, and other equipment related to winemaking.
•  Perform pump-overs, juice/wine additions, moves hoses and equipment, obtains lab samples, disposes of lees and cleans equipment.
•  Operate juice/wine filters.
•  Gas tank headspaces.
•  Mark tanks with blend codes and verify blend codes on all cellar work orders.
•  Assist with barrel activities, i.e. scanning, racking, filling, topping, cleaning and ozone application.

What you will need:
•  Must have a positive attitude and be reliable, on-time and engaged.
•  Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
•  Ability to understand and comply with all safety requirements.
•  Effective communication.
•  Good reading, writing, and math skills.
•  Ability to lift up to 55lbs.
•  Ability to work in various temperatures.
•  Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
