ROCO Winery is seeking motivated and personable individuals to join our 2024 harvest crew. The internship will run from the beginning of September into November, the position
start and end date will vary based on harvest timing. Could be as early as mid-August. We have some flexibility with start and end dates.


About ROCO:

Founded in 2003, we are located in the Willamette Valley just outside of Newberg, Oregon. We specialize in traditional method sparkling wines, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. Our production team, led by Oregon sparkling wine pioneer Rollin Soles and Assistant Winemaker Jarod Sleet, operates a 10,000 sq foot winery that processes around 400 tons of fruit per vintage. Our wines have been selected for Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list, poured at the White House, and received dozens of 90+ scores from major wine publications.

About the position:

Successful candidates will be self-driven, have a great attitude, possess a strong work ethic, be approved to work in the U.S., and be able to provide their own housing and transportation during the time of their employment.

Prior cellar/harvest experience and the ability to properly operate a forklift is preferred, but not required for consideration. This position requires working in a physically demanding environment, under conditions of physical and mental fatigue, while maintaining focus and a positive attitude. Must be willing and able to stand, kneel, climb repeatedly and for numerous hours. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

•  Movement of juice, must, and wine
•  Barrel preparation and filling
•  Juice inoculations
•  Cap management – PUNCH-DOWNS!!! (We do a lot of punchdowns!)
