Job Description:

Amici Cellars is looking for a Sales and Hospitality Associate to join our team to deliver a world-class experience to our customers. We have both part-time and full-time position(s) available. The primary objective of this position is to drive DTC sales conversion and growth. For success in this position, the ideal candidate must possess in-depth wine knowledge and sales ability, combined with notable interpersonal skills to guide guests’ experiences in a flexible and creative nature. In addition to hosting guests, this role will foster new and existing sales and memberships by actively conducting individualized outreach via email, phone, and social networking and in-person events. Responsibilities include all aspects of the client relationship – direct sales, client outreach, and service management of client relationships. Participation in events as deemed appropriate including setup, staffing, and breakdown. This position is an integral part of our growing business and will work with the entire team to create a seamless guest experience.

•  Create a memorable experience for all guests who enter the property by building relationships and engaging them in authentic, personable conversation.
•  Perform daily tasting room duties: Conduct tastings, perform set-up and breakdown of tastings, print menus, wipe down tables, bus and wash glasses.
•  Complete general clean-up of all guest areas throughout the day. This can include monitoring the estate restrooms, and all public areas.
•  Provide excellent and professional customer service, with an emphasis on creating customer loyalty and retention.
•  Assist the Sales and Hospitality Manager book experiences via phone, and email, gathering the necessary information in a professional and friendly manner, and assist in coordinating the tasting room calendar.
•  Assist in keeping an accurate and detailed visit calendar so those hosting guests and others on the team know what and who is scheduled for the day.
•  Accurately processing carry-out, pick up and ship order transactions using POS (Commerce 7).
•  Record visit histories and customer notes in our POS.
•  Assist with the packing and shipping of wine orders, sales orders, POS orders, etc. as needed.
•  Assist in organizing on-site inventory. This includes checking in and putting away wine orders and/or picking up inventory from off-site storage locations.
•  Work with all departments in a collaborative and professional manner.
•  Other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
•  Have previous hospitality experience and strong wine knowledge.
•  Possess excellent communication & organizational skills. Attention to detail and follow-through are a must.
•  Strong attention to sales, administrative, and service detail.
•  Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task numerous projects at one time.
•  We have both part-time and full-time position(s) available. Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules and must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.
•  Able to lift 50 pounds.
•  Ability to stand for long periods of time.
•  Ability to prioritize and get things done in a rapidly changing environment.
•  Be energetic, accountable, and team oriented.
•  Maintain appropriate dress and personal hygiene standards.
