The Canvasback Hospitality & Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for customer service excellence for both visiting guests and direct-to-consumer (DTC) package fulfillment within the state of Washington. This position is expected to maintain daily tasting room floor operations and standards of service excellence, ensuring that our fulfillment standards meet or exceed our customers' expectations in DTC sales. This position oversees the processing of interstate shipments (within Washington), including tasting room orders, online orders, and wine club shipments to ensure effective deliveries. This position requires strong hospitality and leadership skills, planning and logistics skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Provides hospitality to tasting room guests, sales and inventory reconciliation, wine restocks and assistance with all general tasting room operations.
•  Hosts guests in seated experiences, sharing specific Canvasback winemaking information including varietal, winemaking techniques, and winery history.
•  Collaborates with Canvasback team to set and clear tables for guests maintaining a high level of service and appearance, keeping glass inventory clean and ready for service.
•  Assists with new hire training by indoctrinating new staff into The Duckhorn Portfolio and Canvasback philosophy, brand strategies, positioning, etc.
•  Ensures all DTC orders are coordinated effectively across brands and channels and processed in a timely manner, and trains staff on fulfillment operation functions.
•  Acts as the Washington customer service representative, answering questions for customers and co-workers and tracking assistance for customers.

What you will need:
•  3 years in premium wine sales (or other premium consumer product)
•  Excellent attention to detail and ability to anticipate consumer needs and respond appropriately.
•  Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook, NAV, Vin65 or other database management systems, warehouse and/or order management software.
•  Experience packing and shipping wine orders preferred, knowledge of compliance laws/software a plus.
•  Forklift certification or willingness to obtain and ability to drive a flatbed truck
•  Flexible schedule to include regular weekend work and occasional evenings.
•  Valid Driver's License and insurable MVR.
