Position Overview:
Ambar Estate, the first Regenerative Organic Farm Certified Estate in the renowned Dundee Hills, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Hospitality Coordinator to support daily operational service duties, reservation and phone management and event coordination and sales. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in service, training and event coordination and execution. As the first person our members and guests interact with, it is imperative that this person represents and upholds the highest standards of hospitality and customer service. Hospitality heart is at the core of this role as is detail orientation, great communication and a passion for Oregon Wine. The Hospitality Coordinator reports directly to the General Manager with opportunity for growth into management roles.

Responsibilities:
1. Leadership Responsibilities:
•  Training and implementation of opening and closing procedures in collaboration with General Manager.
•  Daily floor service section assignment for Winery Educators and Sommelier based on reservation flow.
•  Host duties including welcoming and seating incoming guests and communicating reservation specifics to Winery Educators and Sommelier.
•  Strong communication with all hospitality roles before, during and after service to ensure seamless experiences for members and guests.
•  Supporting management of floor in the absence of Estate General Manager.

2. Administrative Duties:
•  Phone, voicemail and reservation management to optimize visitor traffic while operating to pre-determined capacities and provide prompt replies to all inquiries.
•  General inbox email management.
•  Monitoring and updates of hours and offerings across online platforms.
•  Updating reservation system as needed with hospitality offerings and events as they evolve.
•  Support with social media posts as needed.

3. Events Duties:
•  Supports production of BEOs and Pro Formas for events in collaboration with General Manager.
•  Leads and executes on and offsite winery and wine club events in collaboration with General Manager.
•  Coordination of culinary, music, entertainment and rentals for on and offsite events.
•  Works closely with private and corporate event clients to plan and execute events above expectation.
•  Helps to cultivate strong private event business.

Qualifications:
•  Experience within the hospitality industry in a training or leadership position, preferably in the wine and/or luxury sector.
•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and online technologies.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•  Familiarity with website and social media management.
•  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
•  Knowledge of Point of Sale and Reservation systems preferred.
•  Sommelier and other wine training and certifications not required but a preferred.
•  OLCC alcohol permit required prior to start of position.
