Winery Tasting Room - Part Time
Holloran Vineyard Wines seeks part-time Tasting Room staff members for our Dundee Tasting Room.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent, welcoming service for our club members & all visitors
- Pour wines, and provide detailed information about how they are grown and made.
- Help in preparation of cheese boards and other food items we serve
- Work with other tasting room staff to ensure the facilities are maintained appropriately for the comfort of our customers.
- Assist in daily startup and shut down process as needed.
- Work may also be available in our winemaking production area assisting with topping barrels, bottling, etc.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications/experience:
- Experience serving wine in a restaurant, tasting room, wine bar, or other wine industry environment such as wine wholesaling.
- Excellent customer care skills
- Strong communications skills with other staff members and customers
- Experience with fine wine, either working in a winery, or significant experience tasting high end wines, is required
- Experience in DTC, Retail or wholesale sales of wine, or serving wine (sommelier or server in a restaurant) is strongly preferred
- Possession of an OLCC server permit is a plus, or we can help you acquire one
- Food preparation – experience cooking or preparing food, either commercially or as a home chef, is a plus

Holloran Vineyard Wines is based in Dundee, OR and was founded in 1999. This is our 25th year growing wine! We sell in 22+ markets and internationally. We farm organic & biodynamic.

Tasting Room staff participate in tastngs with our winemaking and management team to build their wine knowledge and understanding of how our wines are grown and made.
