You’d be joining the team led by award-winning winemaker, Pauline Lhote. With over 17 years of experience crafting exceptional sparkling wine products, you can jump start your wine making career.

You’d be part of a team of experienced Cellar workers with many years of experience. They’ll be there to guide you and teach you the technique of traditional winemaking. You will learn from some of the best in the industry, including Pauline herself.

You’ll love working out of our Yountville, CA location. Situated in the beautiful natural landscape of the Napa Valley, it will make coming to the office a treat. Public transportation is limited so you’ll need a car, or bike.

Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Welding and electrical certifications a plus.

Languages: Fluent English

Professional experience & know how:

Minimum 3-5 years winery cellar experience required.
Knowledge of safe cellar practices, including safe handling of chemicals.
Knowledge of winery cellar operating procedures.
Ability to be trained in confined space entry process and procedures.
Ability to drive a forklift and become forklift certified.
Minimum 2 years facilities and maintenance experience. Winery specialty a plus.
Technical & management skills:

Ability to understand and perform basic math.
Ability to understand and perform basic measurements.
Ability to train and direct less skilled workers, including seasonal labor.
Ability to provide working leadership or guidance to lower-level employees
Ability to effectively use an iPad and understand Innovint.
Preferred: intermediate knowledge and ability of the following computer software programs: MS Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Innovint.
Personal & interpersonal skills: Ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
